Vancity is seeking an Analyst, Business IT to bridge business needs and technology solutions at our Head Office in Canada. You will consult with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specs, and support ongoing process improvements.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid work; on-site presence required for events and business demands. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in business analysis, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, computer science, commerce, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops across multiple units.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Consult with assigned lines of business to identify needs, challenges, risks and opportunities.
• Analyze business processes and operational requirements to support strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop process models, business cases, and supporting analysis deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT partners throughout project lifecycles.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to gather and validate requirements.
• Assess risks and recommend solutions that improve operations.
• Support the implementation and optimization of business and technology solutions.
• Research industry trends and emerging opportunities impacting operations.
