We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to provide comprehensive technical support to organizational clients, plan members, and our internal Benefits team. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison in the administration of group insurance plans, combining analytical expertise with exceptional customer service to ensure seamless benefit plan operations. You'll be responsible for analyzing financial data, maintaining quality control standards, and building strong client relationships while supporting both routine administration and special projects in our collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Respond to client inquiries pertaining to their group insurance plans as well as build the relationship between clients and other members of team
  2. Review and analyze benefit plan contracts and documentation as well as update client information on internal databases
  3. Analyze and prepare financial information relating to benefits plan annual renewals and client proposals
  4. Mediate with internal administrators and insurance providers regarding administration of client plans
  5. Analyze payroll files, carrier files, and premium statements to ensure accuracy
  6. Organize mass communication and administration packages being sent to clients’ plan members
  7. Attend and present at internal training sessions to share/build knowledge of industry topics and trends as well as attend and participate in client meetings on occasion
  8. Ensure that quality control and service standards are attained with every transaction
  9. Assist with special projects, as required
Qualifications

  1. New graduates and/or 1 – 2 years relevant experience
  2. Post-secondary education
  3. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  4. Exceptional customer focus
  5. Strong communication and organizational skills
  6. Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence
  7. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn internal software quickly and thoroughly
Great to haves
  1. Related courses in group benefits (CEBS)
  2. Experience at the Analyst level in Group Benefits
