Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Bell Desk & Valet Supervisor to lead the bell desk, valet and door staff, ensuring warm, personalized, and anticipatory service for guests in a luxury setting.

This permanent, full-time role offers a pay rate of 27.68 CAD per hour, with a January 2027 start date, subsidized onsite accommodations, meals, a comprehensive benefits package, pension and travel discounts within Accor properties worldwide.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel environment.
• Proficiency of Microsoft OfficeSuite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Valid Class 4 drivers licence, with clear driving record required.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of bell desk, valet and door staff.
• Ensure seamless arrivals and departures with luggage assistance and valet.
• Coordinate shuttle schedules and routes to local areas.
• Log vehicle keys and manage valet ticketing procedures.
• Develops and oversees the implementation of all training needs of the department.
• Maintain clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Monitor team performance, manage shift coverage, and ensure staff adhere to grooming and service standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor colleagues; provide performance feedback.

Job Description

As the Bell Desk & Valet Supervisor, you will lead by example in delivering warm, personalized, and anticipatory service to guests upon arrival and departure. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell desk, valet, and door staff to ensure efficiency, guest satisfaction, and adherence to Fairmont's luxury service standards.

Job Duties Include:

• Ensure seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests, including luggage assistanceand valet parking.
• Coordinate and monitor shuttle schedules and routes to local areas.
• Handle guest concerns with empathy and prompt resolution.
• Ensure proper logging of vehicle keys and accurate valet ticketing procedures.
• Seeks feedback and recommendation on guest satisfaction and employee experience.
• Developsand overseesthe implementation of all training needs of the department.
• Maintain clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Monitor team performance, manage shift coverage, and ensure staff adhere to grooming and service standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor colleagues; provide performance feedback
