Job summary

ECO Canada is seeking a performance‑driven professional to join the Professional Services team in Calgary. Reporting to the Director, this role supports the BEAHR program and helps develop new projects while coordinating various activities with Indigenous, government, and industry groups.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a Calgary-based head office and occasional travel across Canada to support program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a post-secondary program. A background in Environmental Science/Studies, business administration, Indigenous relations, or similar will be an asset.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a coordinator role.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business or training opportunities.
  • Experience working with Indigenous Peoples, programming, community engagement, or relationship-building is strongly preferred.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Canada for site visits and program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development to identify and secure new BEAHR training opportunities with Indigenous communities, industry partners, and government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate planning and delivery of BEAHR programs and related environmental projects with timelines and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, government, industry, and academic partners.
  • Lead recruitment, screening, onboarding, and relationship management of BEAHR Trainers.
  • Support trainer evaluations and quality assurance for high-quality delivery.
  • Attend conferences, events, webinars, and site visits to support program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Travel across Canada to Indigenous communities and off-site training locations as needed.
  • Support preparation of program reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Track program budgets and provide regular activity updates.
  • Contribute to development of new program ideas and opportunities.
  • Support communications, events, templates, and program documentation.
