Job summary

Cirba Solutions in Canada is hiring a Battery Technician for the Lithium Line to set up and operate equipment for lithium battery recycling, ensuring high quality output and full machine capacity while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

You will perform daily equipment setup, follow SOPs, operate a forklift, and adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with machinery and equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Daily setup of equipment for operation.
• Operate equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain and clean filter press.
• Make adjustments to equipment to improve performance.
• Operate forklift to move finished product.
• Comply with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area.

Salary Range: CA$23.00 To CA$23.00 Hourly

The Battery Technician Lithium Line is responsible for performing various tasks to set up and operate equipment in order to complete process of recycling lithium batteries while ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity and is properly maintained. We believe in employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Daily set up of equipment for operation
• Operate equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain and clean filter press.
• Make adjustments to equipment when necessary to improve performance.
• Operating a forklift to move finished product.
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area.

Qualifications

• Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
• Knowledge of machinery and tools
• Understanding of operating procedures
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
