Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking a Food & Beverage team member for our BASIN Glacial Waters outlet. The position is permanent, starting October 2026, at a pay rate of $20.05/hour.

You will work with our culinary team to deliver high-quality guest experiences and maintain clean, well-stocked service areas. Required Alberta ProServe Certificate and a minimum of 6 months’ F&B experience.

Qualifications

• Alberta ProServe Certificate required.
• Minimum 6 months’ food and beverage experience.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders and prepare them to their preferences.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and handle complaints.
• Collaborate with culinary team on offerings and presentation quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of Food and Beverage areas, equipment and countertops.
• Ensure accurate ordering in Micros POS system.

Our BASIN Glacial Waters will provide elevated food and beverage offerings to patrons of the facility providing not only unique culinary experiences, but a range of Beverages tailored to complete our guests journey towards wellness. Our team will be highly regarded at the hotel and considered to be a key factor for the overall guest experience of this brand new facility. Together, let’s turn Moments into Special Memories.

Job Duties Include

• Take guest orders and prepare them to their preferences
• Monitor inventory of supplies, ensuring everything is restocked as needed.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, handle complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
• Work closely with our culinary team on offerings and ensuring quality and presentation is exceeded
• Keep the Food and Beverage areas clean, including equipment and countertops.
• Ensure accurate ordering in Micros POS system

• Ability to constantly stand and walk throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
