Hynes' Irish Pub in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighborhood is seeking an experienced Bartender/Server to greet guests, mix drinks, and provide friendly, efficient service in a cozy setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling payments, upselling, and maintaining a clean, welcoming bar. Must be flexible to work days/nights/weekends; Serving It Right certification required.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years bartending and serving experience in a busy bar or restaurant.
• Serving It Right certification.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Pour wine and beer.

• Check IDs to verify legal age.

Hynes' Irish Pub is currently hiring an experiencedBartender/Serverfor our cozy bar inthe heart of Kitsilano Vancouver! If you are looking for a fun working environment with awesome customers and teammates then this may be the perfect role for you!!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet customers and take orders
• Mix and prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Wash glassware and utensils after each use
• Pour wine and beer
• Manage tables and sections to ensure excellent customer service
• Collect payment and operate the POS
• Check identification of customers to make sure they meet requirements
• Clean up after customers and clean work area
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Answer questions and make recommendations to customers
• Upsell on menu items when appropriate
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Certifications

• High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of bartending & serving experience in a busy bar or restaurant
• Serving It Right certification
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes
• Ability to handle busy crowds
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
