Job summary

Britannia Brewing Company is seeking an experienced bartender for our Ladner Village location to keep taps flowing and vibes relaxed. This role welcomes a full-time or part-time bartender who can deliver consistent, high-quality service and share beer and food pairing recommendations with guests.

You'll be part of a friendly team in a neighbourhood hangout, responsible for keeping the bar organized, handling cashouts, and contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending experience in a professional full-service restaurant/bar environment.

• Strong knowledge of food, craft beer, cocktails

Responsibilities

• Pour Britannia's beers with care - the right glass, the right pour, and a little beer chat when it fits.
• Shake, stir, and serve cocktails, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Make guests feel welcome from the moment they sit down - friendly, attentive, professional.
• Share favourite beer styles, cocktails, and food pairings to help guests find something they'll love.
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly so the whole team can do their best work.
• Handle opening and closing routines, restocking, cleaning, and cashing out.

Our 90-seat Ladner Village spot is looking for an experienced full or part-time Bartender to help keep the taps flowing, the vibes easygoing, and the bar team dialed in.

Role Overview

At Britannia Ladner, bartenders are the storytellers of the room - the ones who know which beer just dropped, which cocktail is secretly the staff favourite, and which regular is about to walk in before they even hit the door. You bring craft beer curiosity, cocktail confidence, and that warm, easy hospitality that makes people feel instantly at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Pour Britannia's beers with care - the right glass, the right pour, and a little beer chat when it fits.
• Shake, stir, and serve cocktails, wine, cider, and N/A drinks the way they're meant to be enjoyed.
• Make guests feel welcome from the moment they sit down - friendly, attentive, professional.
• Share your favourite beer styles, cocktails, and food pairings to help guests find something they'll love.
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly so the whole team can do their best work.
• Handle opening and closing routines without fuss - restocking, cleaning, cashing out, all the usual stuff.
• Wrap up the night with accurate cash-outs and tidy end-of-shift duties.
• Bring good energy to new beer releases, events, and seasonal features by chatting them up with guests.
