Shamrock Storehouse in Downtown Vancouver is hiring an experienced Bartender/Server for our new Irish pub located in the Granville Entertainment District. You will welcome guests, take orders, provide table service, and help ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities include processing payments, upselling cocktails, verifying IDs, and maintaining clean work areas. Enjoy great house tips and a supportive team in a prime central location.

Formación

• 2 years of serving experience in a busy bar or restaurant.
• Serving It Right certification.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle busy crowds and stay composed.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide attentive table service and manage assigned sections.
• Process payments using the POS system with accuracy.
• Verify age for alcohol service by checking IDs.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and workstations.
• Upsell premium menu items and specialty cocktails when appropriate.
• Collaborate with bartenders and team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support bar operations with additional duties as needed.
• Check identification to ensure customers meet requirements.

Located at 678 Nelson St, situated in the Downtown Vancouver.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Welcome guests warmly and create a memorable first impression
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide attentive table service, managing assigned sections to ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Process payments using the POS system with accuracy and discretion
• Verify age requirements for alcohol service by checking valid identification
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and workstations throughout the shift
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions and offering recommendations
• Upsell premium menu items and specialty cocktails when appropriate
• Collaborate with bartenders and team members to ensure smooth service flow
• Support bar operations with additional duties as needed
• Check identification of customers to make sure they meet requirements.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a busy bar or restaurant
• Serving It Right certification
