Job Overview

Fuel Stop New Building is seeking a Full time / Part time Bartender / Alcohol Server.

Responsibilities

• Must be 19 years old or older.
• Must have SIRS or be willing to obtain the examination.
• Work day shift and night shift until 3 a.m.
• Report directly to the owner.
• Collect cash, credit, debit, or other payments for beverages.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• Inform customers about the contents of cocktails or other drinks.
• Operate point‑of‑sales system and cash register.
• Organize and set up the bar, count beverage products, and record and balance beverage sales.
• Apply critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
• Work effectively with others and communicate orally with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Honest, reliable, patient, active, and trustworthy.
• Ability to deal with intoxicated people and work under pressure.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in bartending is preferred; wage will be negotiated based on experience.

Additional Information

Tips will be collected on the same day. Position is Part Time with the possibility of becoming Full Time. Only candidates in Canada with a valid work permit will be considered.
