Part of the Luxury Family Hotel Group, Fowey Hall Hotel is currently looking for a passionate and skilled Bartender.

Role overview :

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for our guests through mixology and impeccable customer service. We seek a passionate individual with creativity and dedication to delivering a top-notch beverage experience.

This is a seasonal fixed-term position until 30th September, 32 hours per week, paying £12.21 per hour, plus a generous service charge and benefits.

Responsibilities :

• Cocktail Crafting : Prepare and present classic and innovative cocktails and beverages, greet guests, learn their preferences, answer questions, and upsell menu items.
• Guest Service : Maintain a high level of host presence in the bar and lounges, providing attentive and friendly service to ensure positive guest experiences.
• Beverage Knowledge : Keep informed about current beverage trends, including wines, spirits, and cocktails, and share knowledge with guests and colleagues.
• Bar Maintenance : Keep the bar area clean, organized, well-stocked, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Compliance : Follow health and safety regulations and licensing laws.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in bartending
• Extensive knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing
• A positive, welcoming attitude and friendly personality
• Efficiency, observance, knowledge, and personable skills
• Commitment to high customer service standards
• Organization and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varying hours as required
