Job summary

Civeo Services Employees LP in Fort McMurray is seeking a motivated Bartender/Camp Attendant to join our team. You will prepare and serve beverages, provide lounge food service, and maintain lounge cleanliness while performing room attendant duties as needed.

This full-time position operates on a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation at our Ft McMurray Village site, requires ProServe certification and extensive bar/food service experience, and emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ProServe Certificate required.
• 5+ years bartender and food service experience in the hotel/restaurant industry.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
• Knowledge of AB Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) policies and regulations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Take and prepare drink orders, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Serve drinks and snacks with responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bar area and equipment.
• Restock bar inventory (kegs, CO₂ tanks, syrups).
• Operate POS system and handle payments.
• Comply with liquor laws and safety practices.
• Perform general cleaning duties as camp attendant (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing).
• Make beds and change sheets per schedule.
• Clean washers/dryers and laundry areas.
• Sanitize washrooms after every shift change.
• Review Daily Room Allocation sheet and address special requests.
• Report damage, theft, or abandoned items to the Manager.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
