Job summary

• Hourly pay rate of $20.21 to 23.10

What You Will Be Doing:

• Prepare rooms and tables for a variety of events
• Maintaining adequate supplies and/or equipment
• Assisting Kitchen and service staff
• Assisting Banquet Bartenders with restocking glassware, fruit & dry goods
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing physically demanding work load
• Previous experience in a customer service‑related position
• "Serving It Right" and "Food Safe" certification
• Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent and clean driver’s abstract
• Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and the capability of working well with minimal supervision
• A high level of responsibility and commitment
• A strong commitment to team work and exceeding guests' expectations
• Impeccable grooming and presentation

Physical Aspects of Position:

• Constant standing and walking
• Frequent bending and kneeling
• Constant carrying and lifting up to 20lbs
• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
