Job summary

Northland Properties seeks a seasoned restaurant leader to oversee events, guest service, and floor operations in Edmonton. You will guide banquet teams, coordinate with event hosts, and ensure flawless execution from setup to teardown.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are decorated correctly, food is presented well, and service runs smoothly.
• Manage floor staff, ensure uniforms and guest service meet standards.
• Coordinate with event coordinators/hosts and address questions during service.
• Lead on event supervision and execution.
• Manage clients including meetings, contracts, billing, and related admin.
• Provide feedback and coaching to banquet team.
• Set up rooms including A.V. and bar; monitor room condition throughout service.
• Oversee bar and liquor orders and scheduling/labor costs.
• Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, contracts, and customer inquiries.
