Job summary

Living Water Resorts in Canada seeks a Banquet Porter to support daily banquet operations, setup and teardown, and assist the Senior Porter Team Lead/Supervisor or F&B Manager to meet our service culture standards. The role requires strong guest relations, professional communication, and teamwork to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key duties include coordinating room setups per BEO, maintaining a high standard of hospitality, and assisting with equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Smart Serve certification is required or preferred.
• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily banquet operations including setup and teardown.
• Respond to guest concerns in a positive, proactive manner.
• Maintain hospitality, quality and value standards for guests.
• Ensure staff uniforms, nametags and grooming standards are met.
• Assist with room setup per BEO and floor plans with porters.
• Coordinate with Sales Manager for revised plans and orders.
• Oversee room setup consistency and efficiency with porter team.
• Ensure necessary F&B supplies are available and address issues.
• Keep function rooms presentable and coordinate with Kitchen team.
• Accommodate last-minute guest requests and changes.
