Canad Inns in Winnipeg is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee all banquet events, supervise staff, and ensure flawless service. You will coordinate setups, communicate with clients, and lead a team to execute events with precision.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant, banquet, or hotel environment.
• Previous Banquet Captain experience is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent guest service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences.
• Ability to lead and coordinate banquet staff while ensuring smooth event execution.
• Must be available to days,nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise banquet staff during events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Communicate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide personalized service.
• Oversee the breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms after events.
