Gray Collection in Montreal is seeking a Banquet Attendant to support our Food & Beverage team by preparing, serving and maintaining banquet spaces for events.

You will set up and dismantle rooms, handle buffet stations, welcome guests, and maintain cleanliness while upholding discretion and guest confidentiality. Fluency in English and French is required, with flexible availability.

Job description

Reporting to the Banquet Maître d’Hôtel, the Banquet Attendant works within the Food & Beverage Department and is primarily responsible for table maintenance, as well as the setup and teardown of meeting and banquet rooms, in order to meet the establishment’s and guests’ expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and dismantle meeting and banquet rooms according to established standards;
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by participating in daily and weekly cleaning tasks;
• Install and set up certain equipment;
• Prepare buffet stations for food and beverage service;
• Warmly welcome guests;
• Demonstrate discretion and ensure guest confidentiality.
