Job summary

Hotel X is seeking a Banquet Attendant to support setup, service and teardown for events. You will work with the Events team to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service flow.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet and event spaces, serving guests, restocking stations, and maintaining clean spaces while following food safety standards. The role requires teamwork, reliability and a proactive, guest-focused approach.

About the Role

The Banquet Attendant plays an important role in the successful execution of events at Hotel X, supporting everything from set-up and service through to tear-down. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork and a commitment to providing a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and tear-down of banquet and event spaces according to event orders and Hotel X standards, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings and staging
• Provide friendly, attentive and professional food and beverage service throughout events
• Work closely with the Banquet Supervisor and Events team to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain clean, organized and well-presented banquet spaces before, during and after events
• Replenish service stations and ensure equipment and materials are handled and stored properly
• Work collaboratively with BOH teams, including Culinary and Stewarding, to maintain an efficient service flow
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, and sanitation standards
