Job summary

CIBC in Campbell River is seeking a people-oriented Banking Manager to lead a team of high performing financial services professionals dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll hire, coach, and develop your team, acting as an owner to fuel revenue growth and accountability for results.

You’ll support clients buying homes, growing businesses, and planning for futures, with banking centre hours that may include evenings and weekends and travel to nearby centres as needed.

Qualifications

• Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
• It’s an asset if you’ve completed Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook Wealth Management Essentials or CFP.
• Candidates should demonstrate leadership and coaching capabilities with a client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing Banking Centre team to deepen client relationships and grow revenue.
• Monitor business performance and implement action plans to close gaps in service and results.
• Provide development opportunities and advocate for the CIBC values within the community.
