What is the opportunity?

This position leverages your client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to maximize each client interaction. You will assist clients with their banking, credit, and investment needs, adding value during key moments and collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals. Whether demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, or referring complex opportunities to specialists, your expertise will contribute to meaningful client experiences, driving satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

  1. Engage proactively with clients in branches and the community to uncover needs, provide advice, and identify sales opportunities.
  2. Focus on client education and demonstrations, leveraging technology to enhance the client experience, drive sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated contacts, assisting with a range of financial transactions.
  4. Listen actively to understand individual client needs.
  5. Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking issues.
  6. Maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven sales environment
  • Problem-solving and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a success-driven mindset
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
  • Availability to work all open business hours

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in building rapport and maintaining client relationships in the financial or service industry
