Job summary

Cobs Bread South Point Annex is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations at 2990 152nd Street suite 104, Surrey, BC. The position is on-site, permanent and full-time, with flexible hours and a focus on efficient service and team leadership.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to supervise a team while ensuring quality and budget adherence in a busy urban bakery setting.

Qualifications

• Languages: English.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control daily operations and evaluate daily performance.
• Plan and organize daily operations and manage staff assignments.
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement pricing policies.
• Locate and procure merchandise for resale and monitor revenues and expenses.
• Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire and supervise staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and resolve issues including customer requests and shortages.

Tasks: Direct and control daily operations, Evaluate daily operations, Plan and organize daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Implement price and credits policies, Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Determine staffing requirements, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, Conduct performance reviews
Supervision: 11-15 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility
