Job summary

Central Sask. Co-op invites applications for a part-time Bakery Clerk at our Humboldt Bakery location. You will deliver friendly service, prepare and price bakery items, and maintain clean, safe shop standards.

You’ll stock shelves, help with merchandising, and perform opening/closing tasks while adhering to health and safety guidelines. The role requires physical effort and willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Honesty and trustworthiness.
• Results-oriented and reliable in a retail setting.
• Willing to work all shifts including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate to meet objectives.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel.
• You have or are willing to obtain a Food Safe Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Food Prep: prepare, wrap, price bakery products and use scales, slicer and printer.
• Stocking: unload freight, stock and merchandise bakery items in-store.
• Maintain merchandising, production and health & safety standards.
• General bakery duties: housekeeping, opening/closing, ordering, safe/clean work environment.

Central Sask. Co-op is hiring a Part Time Bakery Clerk for our Humboldt Bakery location.

What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to make all guests of our Co-op feel at home here through:
• Food Prep - Prepare, wrap, and price bakery products and operate printer, scales, and slicer.
• Stocking Unload freight, stock and merchandise bakery products within the store.
• Ensure merchandising, production, and health & safety standards are maintained.
• General Bakery department duties - housekeeping, opening, closing, ordering, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:

• You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising (considered an asset)
• You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
• You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50lbs, climb ladders and kneel
