Prairie Co-operative is hiring a part-time Bakery Clerk for our Food Centre in Melville, Saskatchewan. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, preparing and stocking bakery items, and maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, productive bakery operation in line with policies and standards.
• Prepare, wrap, price and stock products as required.
• Prepare and decorate cakes and pastries for the bakery department.
• Maintain and display all bakery products according to standards.
• Maintain equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly.
• Adhere to sanitation and personal hygiene policies.
• Inform the manager when inventory replenishment is needed and keep markdown reports.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
• Prepare, wrap, price and stock product as required and assigned.
• Prepare and decorate cakes and pastries for bakery department
• Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to standards.
• Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly.
• Adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies
• Advise the manager when orders for replenishment of inventory is required and to keep proper Mark-down Reports.
• Any other duties as assigned
