Job summary

Central Sask. Co-op in Humboldt is hiring a Full-Time Bakery Clerk at our Humboldt Bakery location. You will deliver friendly service to make guests feel at home, assist with bakery prep, stocking, and merchandising, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working all shifts including weekends, and a willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate. Humboldt Co-op offers competitive wages, excellent training programs and advancement opportunities.

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to make all guests of our Co-op feel at home here through:

• Food Prep - Prepare, wrap, and price bakery products
• Stocking Unload freight, stock and merchandise products within the store.
• Ensure merchandising, production, and health & safety standards are maintained.
• General bakery department duties - housekeeping, opening, closing, ordering, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:

• You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising (considered an asset)
• You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
• You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50lbs, climb ladders and kneel
• You have or are willing to obtain a Food Safe Certificate
