Job summary

Walmart Canada in Port Perry is seeking a Bakery Associate to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining the Bakery Department. You will ensure product quality, proper labeling, and neat displays, and assist with stocking and selling bakery goods.

You will follow food safety standards, temperature controls, and sanitation protocols, while supporting ordering, pricing and shelf presentation. This role is typically on-site and offers hourly compensation aligned with the minimum rate.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning guidelines.
• Handle ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging and labeling.
• Prepare bakery items by following thawing and baking guidelines.
• Keep displays secured in a safe and proper manner.
