Job summary

Giveandgo in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Baker Mixer to join our food manufacturing team. This full-time role works 37.5 hours per week on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

You will mix raw materials according to batch recipes and ensure equipment operates within specifications to produce safe, high-quality products. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
• Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas
• Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection
• Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
• Regularly monitor that the product confirms to quality and safety specifications
• Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines
• Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner
• Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment

Job Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Baker Mixer's primary responsibility is to mix raw materials in order to create finished products according to the batch recipes. They will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality products are produced at all times.

Please note that this is a full-time position and will require you to work 37.5 hours per week

Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
