Job summary

Annagem Naan and Kabob is seeking a Baker to manage end-to-end production from mixing to finishing bake, ensuring each item meets our standards.

The role requires following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and working in a high-temperature, fast-paced bakery during rotating shifts. You will help with inventory and support a seamless bakery operation for peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vigilant attention to recipe details to ensure consistent results.
• Strong communication with team and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Baker runs a full day’s baking production from start (mixing) to finish (baking) and is responsible for the preparation of all baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and bakes menu items according to the company’s recipes and standards
• Safely handles and operates equipment such as utensils, mixers, ovens, and pots and pans
• Complies with prescribed health and safety procedures while executing assigned tasks
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment including removal of waste from bakery area
• Updates inventory records of food and supplies for relevant areas of production
• Maintains supply storage room for production of baked goods
• Performs other additional duties as assigned

Skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Specialized knowledge

• Knowledge of the types and grades of ingredients used in general pastry and bread baking
• Knowledge of methods and equipment used in baking
