Abbey's Bakehouse & Sips Refreshers at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga is seeking a dedicated Baker to craft our signature pastries and beverages. You will work with fresh ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain high quality across all items throughout the day.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of fresh baked goods throughout the day.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
• Decorate, finish, and merchandise baked products to Abbey's presentation standards.
• Monitor product freshness and maintain attractive bakery displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation.
• Work closely with the café team to keep products stocked during busy periods.
• Help create a positive, supportive workplace where teamwork and craftsmanship are valued.

Your Role

As a Baker, you'll prepare and bake our signature products

while helping maintain the high standards that Abbey's Bakehouse is known for.

You’ll work alongside our café team to ensure fresh, delicious products are

available throughout the day, creating an exceptional experience for every

guest. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys baking,

values attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, café, or commercial kitchen
• Passion for baking and producing high-quality products
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Food Handler Certification is an asset
• Available to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
