Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Barista is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items, and make recommendations.
• Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit.
• Prepare specialty drinks made to order, including grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea.
• Sell coffee/tea blends and brewing equipment, highlighting differences and educating customers about brewing methods.
• Clean and restock the work and dining areas, sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Ongoing learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques to improve quality.
• Update signage and displays to attract customers.
• Maintain inventory and replenish items in display cases and behind the counter; participate in store inventory count.
• Support other store departments with rotating product, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining appearance.

• Support other store departments with tasks such as rotating product, stocking items, cleaning and maintaining the store’s appearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift,withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
