Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring an AZ Driver for evening shifts in London, ON. The role involves safely operating trucks to deliver food products on local routes, unloading at customer sites, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

You will work 5 days per week with potential overtime and receive benefits after 30 days. The position offers a family-oriented culture with opportunities for advancement and daily home-time.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.
• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
• Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
• Previous professional driving experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships.
• Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into customer locations with ramps and occasional stairs (approx. 600–1000 cases/shift)
• Operate straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods on urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
• Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintain accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
• Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and maintain customer invoices
