Job summary

TalentWorld is hiring an AZ Flatbed Driver to safely deliver steel products across Ontario, using a day cab flatbed truck and a truck-mounted forklift for unloading. You will secure loads, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain delivery documentation while delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule is Monday to Friday with Ontario routes and occasional overnight travel; the role offers full-time, permanent employment, a company-provided truck, and comprehensive insurance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ontario AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of AZ and flatbed driving experience.
• Willingness to complete overnight runs as required.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift is a strong asset.
• Construction site delivery experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of load securement and safe material handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 25 kg.
• Physically demanding
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport steel products to customer locations throughout Ontario.
• Operate a truck-mounted forklift to unload materials safely at customer sites.
• Secure loads using straps and perform ongoing load securement inspections throughout each trip.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections and report any equipment concerns.
• Pick up materials from vendors, steel mills, and company locations.
• Transfer products between company facilities as required.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper logbooks and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding deliveries and scheduling.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
• Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and safe work practices.
