Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an AVP, Business Insights & Strategic Execution in Toronto to lead the Chief of Staff function and advise the SVP, Chief Experience, Digital & AI Officer. You will drive strategic priorities, governance, and performance management across the organization to deliver measurable outcomes and enterprise transformation.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align efforts, develop data-driven insights, and produce concise executive communications for leadership forums.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in strategy, business management, consulting, transformation, analytics, operations, or related disciplines.
• Proven success supporting senior executives and driving enterprise-wide initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong experience in strategic execution, business performance management, governance, and executive reporting.
• Exceptional communication – ability to influence at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of the CXO strategic agenda and oversee delivery of key business priorities.
• Partner across Experience, Digital, AI, Technology, Data, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and business teams to align efforts and accelerate outcomes.
• Provide visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and executive decisions while improving accountability and governance.
• Lead the CXO analytics and performance management strategy.
• Develop executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and business reviews that support data-driven decision making.
