Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an AVP of Compliance Technology and Innovation to provide strategic leadership for transformation, technology enablement and analytics. You will drive data-driven and AI-enabled solutions, govern initiatives, and partner with Risk, Internal Audit and Tech to align with regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, Technology, Analytics or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, governance, risk management and control environments.
• Experience leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and AI to solve complex business challenges.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making with a results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for Compliance Technology, Innovation, Insight & Analytics.
• Lead transformational initiatives to enhance Compliance effectiveness, efficiency and risk management.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify priorities, align investments and deliver strategic outcomes.
• Oversee Compliance technology operations, platform enhancements, release management and operational excellence initiatives.
• Drive automation and process improvements to strengthen oversight while reducing manual effort.
• Lead design and deployment of scalable analytics, automation, AI and GenAI-enabled solutions.
