POSITION OVERVIEW

The Service Writer supports the Service department administratively, liaises with customers, and ensures efficient daily operations.

LOCATION : Anjou, Quebec

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS :

EXPERIENCE :

• 3+ years in a Service Writer or related administrative / customer service role
• Experience preparing quotes and managing work orders
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with heavy equipment is an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage customer relations and provide status updates
• Open and close work orders per internal procedures
• Prepare quotes and update work orders
• Assist with shop scheduling and coordinate with factory reps
• Generate payroll and ensure customer accounts are in good standing
• Handle warranty claims and resolve customer concerns
• Support the Parts department and perform additional tasks as assigned
