Chubb Canada seeks an Aviation Practice Leader to manage and grow the aviation operation across Canada, delivering profitability, revenue growth, new business, pre-bind metrics, rate, retention, and compliance for Canada.

The role involves driving results for the Aviation industry practice in the region and coordinating with UK leadership, while mentoring field staff and building broker relationships for sustained market leadership across Canada.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of multiline underwriting experience in aviation.
• Advanced knowledge of aviation underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills and the ability to interact with internal and external partners.
• Willingness to travel throughout Canada.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor new and renewal aviation business performance.
• Develop underwriting strategies and new product development for aviation.
• Lead and coach field staff to enhance capabilities and reputation.
• Build relationships with key brokers and customers within Aviation in Canada.
• Collaborate with Aviation leaders in the UK in a matrix environment.
