Responsibilities

Under the direction of the AV Manager, the AV Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of entertainment events, stage operations, showroom procedures, and related venues.

Essential Duties
  1. Prepare audio, lighting, and video systems for live events, including setup, operation, and teardown.
  2. Maintain and repair consoles, speakers, lighting, cables, video equipment, and other production items.
  3. Operate audio, lighting, and video equipment during live performances.
  4. Perform installation and troubleshooting tasks efficiently and accurately.
  5. Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and tone generators.
  6. Safely operate hand and power tools, solder, and crimp connection cables.
  7. Understand electrical principles, drawings, stage plots, and demonstrate computer literacy.
  8. Have basic knowledge of rack wiring and installation.
  9. Proficient in PC applications (Windows, Adobe, Apple).
  10. Knowledge of Q-SYS control operation and DSP setup is a plus.
  11. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
  12. Attend meetings and complete follow-up tasks as assigned.
  13. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or trade school certificate, with at least two (2) years of experience as a production technician performing similar duties, or a combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a regulated environment, with occasional presence on the Casino Floor.
  • Exposure to environmental factors such as noise may occur.
