Little Blue Daycare in Dawson City, Yukon is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Auxiliary On-Call (AOC) Daycare Worker to join our team!
Position: Auxiliary On-Call Daycare Worker
Employment Type: Casual / On-Call
Wage: $20–$35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Position

Little Blue Daycare is a small, play-based daycare centre with 20 children enrolled between the ages of 18 months to 5 years.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and enjoys working with young children. The AOC worker will provide coverage when regular staff are away and may be called in as needed, sometimes with short notice.
The successful candidate will help provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment while building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

• Provide warm, attentive care while helping children feel safe, confident, and supported.
• Support educators and engage with children by building positive relationships and following the established classroom routines, guidelines, and educator direction.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love of learning through everyday experiences.
