Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced automation-focused engineer for Automotive Embedded domains in Ottawa. The role requires deep Python scripting, AUTOSAR Classic expertise, and hands-on testing on hardware benches and ECUs.

You will gather and analyze requirements, write automated test cases in Python, and participate in UDS testing while leveraging tools like DOORS, JIRA, and CANoe. Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years mandatory experience in Python scripting from Automotive Embedded Domain (ADAS/BCM preferable).
• Mandatory experience with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet protocols.
• Embedded generic testing experience is an advantage.
• Mandatory AUTOSAR Classic experience.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, analyzing requirements, writing manual test cases; automate them in Python and test on HW Bench/ECU.
• Good knowledge of UDS Diagnostic Testing (ISO 14229) – preferred.
• Good knowledge of DOORS, JIRA, CANoe.
• Unit Testing and System Testing experience is an added advantage.
