REALIGN LLC in Toronto, ON, seeks an experienced ECU Software Developer with strong automotive domain expertise and hands-on Model-Based Development (MBD). The role covers the full lifecycle from requirements and model development through testing, calibration, defect resolution and production release.

You'll work with MATLAB/Simulink, MAAB guidelines and MISRA C, develop AUTOSAR‑compliant software, and support calibration and validation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure

Formación

• ECU software development experience in automotive embedded systems.
• Hands-on MATLAB/Simulink model-based development expertise.
• Experience with MIL testing, auto-code generation and ECU calibration.
• Knowledge of MISRA C and MAAB guidelines.
• Experience with AUTOSAR-compliant application development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ECU software using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach.
• Manage lifecycle including requirements, development, testing, debugging, production releases.
• Develop MBD solutions for ECUs such as BCM, HPCM, ABS, ADAS, HVAC.
• Perform plant modeling and design control algorithms for dynamic systems.
• Create model integration frameworks for MIL testing.
• Develop models and applications using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Follow MAAB guidelines and MISRA C coding standards.
• Support ECU calibration and software validation.
• Work with tools such as RTW/TargetLink, DOORS, and ClearCase.
• Develop AUTOSAR-compliant application software.
• Troubleshoot defects and support software integration and production releases.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ECU Software Developer with strong automotive domain expertise and hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD). The role involves developing ECU software across the complete lifecycle, from requirements and model development through testing, calibration, defect resolution, and production release.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ECU software using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach
• Manage the complete ECU software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, debugging, and production releases
• Develop MBD solutions for ECUs such as BCM, HPCM, ABS, ADAS, and HVAC
• Perform plant modeling and design control algorithms for dynamic systems
• Create model integration frameworks for Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing
• Develop models and applications using MATLAB/Simulink
• Follow MAAB guidelines and MISRA C coding standards
• Support ECU calibration and software validation
• Work with tools such as RTW/TargetLink, DOORS, and ClearCase
• Develop AUTOSAR-compliant application software
• Troubleshoot defects and support software integration and production releases

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ECU software development and automotive embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with Model-Based Development using MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with plant modeling, control algorithm development, MIL testing, and auto-code generation
• Knowledge of MAAB Guidelines and MISRA C
• Experience with AUTOSAR-compliant application development
• Knowledge of RTW or TargetLink, DOORS, and ClearCase
• Understanding of ECU calibration and automotive software validation
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and software testing skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multiple ECU platforms such as BCM, ABS, ADAS, HPCM, or HVAC
