General Motors of Canada is seeking a Test Engineer in a hybrid role to strengthen system verification for end-to-end data plane and control plane pipelines. Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software or systems testing with embedded or IoT exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, including test setup, signal/bus simulation, execution and results analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for automated testing, test harness creation, and data processing.
• Practical ability to inspect, read, and debug C/C++, Rust, or Java code.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational/analytical databases and verifying data persistence.

Responsabilidades

• Develop automated verification for bench and vehicle levels of connected features across data plane and control plane pipelines.
• Validate high-throughput telemetry ingestion and vehicle health monitoring in edge and cloud environments.
• Drive testing rigor through HIL, SIL benches, and instrumented vehicles; identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Build and maintain regression suites and CI/CD integrations for quality gates across releases.
• Collaborate with embedded software, cloud platform teams, and system architects to enable testability.
