Job summary

Fountain Tire Crowfoot in Calgary is seeking a Service Writer with a focus on accurate quotes and outstanding customer service. The role involves coordinating work orders, communicating with technicians, and guiding customers through recommended tire and mechanical services to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the automotive repair or tire industry is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services.

Responsibilities

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians.
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received.
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers.
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives and adhere to standards and policies.
