Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary (Shepard) is seeking a responsible Tire Technician to join our team. You will inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair tires on a variety of vehicles and communicate with customers about repairs and tire sales.

We offer competitive wages of $20–$30 per hour based on experience, strong health and dental benefits, RRSP with company matching, and excellent training. Regular full-time day shifts with overtime opportunities are available, plus staff discounts across Fountain

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• We are looking for someone with commercial or OTR tire experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires
• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales
• Keeping yourself and your coworkers safe on the job
• Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road
