Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, Ontario is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role offers stable, non-flat-rate pay and opportunities to maximize earnings, with access to factory training and well-organized bays at Pfaff Subaru.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and documentation to Manufacturer standards, conduct road tests, handle customer concerns, and participate in training courses. Located onsite in Guelph with a supportive, technician-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Certified automotive technician (310S) with diagnostic proficiency.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues with accuracy.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Perform repairs on vehicles as assigned.
• Perform vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
• Document all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles as required.
• Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
• Attend all training courses as requested by service management.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
• Shuttles vehicles into and out of service area.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
• Set-up and organizes individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness.

• Maintain all relevant licenses and qualifications
• Strong diagnostic skills and commitment to quality

• Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
• Drive manual transmission
• Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.

Compensation Range: $33.50-$36.50/hour plus proficiency bonus
