Wellington Motors Ltd. in Guelph is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to guide customers through vehicle purchases, negotiate terms, and coordinate financing to deliver an exceptional buying experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer-facing roles, a hunter mentality, and a proven track record of building relationships to retain customers. Automotive or retail sales experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing role (retail/sales preferred).
• Strong communication and listening skills for guiding customers.
• Ability to build relationships and drive repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in showroom, creating a professional environment.
• Explain features, financing options, and vehicle applications to clients.
• Build rapport and guide customers to select and purchase vehicles.
• Maintain and update customer database to drive sales.
• Present vehicles via test drives and demonstrations, and negotiate terms.
• Follow up with clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Stay updated on dealer group and manufacturer training.
