Job summary

MEDA Engineering and Technical Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our automotive client. The role is a 6-month contract with potential extension and requires availability for all three shifts, including midnights and afternoons, plus overtime including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include coaching on safety, quality, and productivity; optimizing throughput; monitoring ANDON events; ensuring safe, quality output; supporting Kaizen and cost targets;

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a unionized workforce.
• Experience in body shop, stamping, paint, subassembly, or machining preferred.
• Safety and quality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coach team members on Safety, Quality, and Productivity to meet objectives.
• Optimize production throughput in line with budget and cost objectives.
• Monitor ANDON system occurrences and respond as initial secondary support.
• Verify safe and smooth production line operation and quality output.
• Support Kaizen initiatives and coach problem resolution at the lowest level.
