Job summary

MEDA Engineering and Technical Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Tooling Engineer for a 6-month contract to support our automotive client. The role requires working all three shifts (midnights and afternoons), overtime including weekends and holidays, and travel to the USA as needed.

You will lead tooling improvements, interface with suppliers and product engineering, manage the purchasing system, run-off equipment to validate capability and safety, and guide installation and validation

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in tool engineering (high-speed machining).
• Strong experience in a machining environment.
• Tooling expertise: speeds, feeds, depth of cut.
• Experience with tool management equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player willing to lead projects.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD.

Job Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Tooling Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. This is a 6‑month contract (no guarantee of extension). The role requires working all three shifts, primarily the off‑shifts (midnights and afternoons), overtime including weekends and holidays, and the ability to travel to the USA without restrictions on the start date.

Responsibilities

• Run‑off equipment per specifications at supplier and plant sites to validate capability, aid robustness, and ensure safety.

Compensation & Benefits

$35.00 – $40.00 per hour (depending on experience). Paid benefits after 90 days of employment (individual and family coverage – extended medical, out‑of‑country coverage, dental, etc.).
