OpenRoad Auto Group’s NewRoads Subaru Richmond Hill dealership is hiring for a role supporting vehicle movement, inventory staging, and on-site logistics. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, with full-time benefits for eligible staff.

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working outdoors in all weather. The position offers hands-on experience and clear pathways into sales, service, or management.

Responsibilities

• Organize, stage, and rotate vehicle inventory across display pads and service areas.
• Oversee transport carrier offloading and inspections before signing bills of lading.
• Move vehicles in/out of showroom and perform basic detailing and upkeep.
• Process paperwork for licensing, dealer trades, and off-site runs.
• Maintain lot cleanliness and safety during peak seasonal changes.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize, stage, androtate vehicle inventory across display pads, service areas, and overflowstorage; monitor vehicles for maintenance issues (e.g., jump-starts) andtrack locations using accurate stock and key tags.
• Oversee transport carrieroffloading, inspect vehicles for shipping damage and missing items beforesigning bills of lading, log VINs and mileage, and route units through PDIand detailing.
• Maneuver vehicles safelyin and out of the showroom, perform daily cleaning and detailing, andmanage 12V battery maintainers for customer displays.
• Handle paperwork runs tolicensing offices (e.g., ServiceOntario) and execute safe, timely vehicletransfers, dealer trades, and off-site fuel runs.
• Clear snow and ice fromvehicles using non-abrasive tools, shovel and salt walkways/drive lanes,and keep the lot clean of packaging debris andtrash.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Valid, clean driver’s license with aninsurable driving record (abstract review
  required).
• Confident operating diverse vehicle types(sedans, trucks, SUVs, AWD/4WD
  models, and EVs) in tight quarters. Manual transmission experience is anasset.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weatherconditions (cold, snow, heat, rain), standing/walking for extendedperiods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Sharp eye for noticing minor scratches,dents, missing items, or alignment
  irregularities during check-ins.
• Strong time-management skills and the abilityto work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Safe, defensive driving habits
• Spatial awareness in crowded parkingenvironments
• Clear communication with sales, service, andadministrative teams
• Proactive work ethic during peak seasonalweatherchanges
