Your Role

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, an innovative company specializing in robotics, mechatronics, and motion control solutions, for a Remote Sales Engineer position in the Montreal region - Permanent, full-remote role.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the sales management team, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
  • Develop and drive commercial activities in automation and motion control within the assigned territory.
  • Analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions to develop new business opportunities.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals by leveraging your expertise in robotics and mechatronics.
  • Conduct prospecting and networking activities to strengthen the company's market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure optimal project follow-up.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the company's strong brand reputation.
  • The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons :
  • Communication with international customers : As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Working with English-speaking partners : You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
  • Drafting documents in English : You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.

Your Background

  • Degree in engineering (robotics, mechatronics, automation, physics, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales and project management in automation, robotics, or mechatronics.
  • Experience in machine design and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Member of OIQ or interested in becoming one.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Fixed salary between $85,000 and $125,000, based on experience.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Contribution to OIQ membership fees.
  • Full-remote position.
