Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking an Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA) Technician for our Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre (GTFC). This on-shift role requires early morning, evening, or overnight work, with rotating 12-hour schedules.

The ICA Technician will own standards for systems, troubleshoot issues, and coach others. Proficiency in electrical and control systems, along with PLCs and HMIs, is essential for proactive production improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree/certification in electrical or related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve production systems and equipment standards.
• Identify and eliminate inefficiencies within technology zones.
• Schedule and lead training sessions for the team, onsite and offsite.
• Drive loss elimination and change management projects.
• Support escalation efforts for chronic losses and contribute to continuous improvement.
