Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a Tech 2, Bakery- Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, control, and production systems across our facility.

You will work a 12-hour rotating continental shift, including days, nights and weekends, with hourly pay plus shift premiums. Prior experience with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs and refrigeration is preferred, and safety is our top priority.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician certification (309A or 442A) required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial control systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs and VFDs.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and automated production systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain facility equipment, utilities, and building systems for safe operations.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Promote food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for productivity and uptime.
